Nicky Lesser

Born 1988 Los Angeles, CA

Lives and works in New York, NY

Born in 1988 in Los Angeles, Nicky Lesser and earned her BFA from the Parsons School of Design in 2010. Working primarily as a sculptor, her work is concerned with fragmentation – a display of stone legs which clearly belong to a truant sculpture – as well as collapsing social contexts: carving beds from brick blocks. Her recent exhibitions include Brackett Creek Invitational (2022, Bracket Creek Exhibitions); A Light in The Attic (2022, 307 Clinton Ave); and The City 'La Ville' (2021, Chez Anonyme).
