Kalina Winters

Lives and works in Brooklyn, NY

Based in Brooklyn, Kalina Winters is a 2018 graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. She has exhibited at galleries across the United States and in Rome. Winters creates art concerning representations of three-dimensional form and space on a two-dimensional plane. With meticulous draftsmanship and color choices she conjures incredible illusions of texture and depth through her masterful handling of paint and pencil. Winters' layered geometric forms bulge out into space packed with explosive color and motion, some works purely abstract and others forming recognizably representational images through the summation of their discrete structures.
